I just walked the pug down to Front Street, which is being used as a film set this morning—although at first I thought Carmine’s was being sold for parts:

Then I looked up and saw that it was being transformed, if briefly, into something called Farbrother’s Pub:

Best of all was the sandwich board outside Jack’s….

The filming is evidently for Ugly Betty, of all things, and all stores on Front Street are open, despite the action.
