The October issue of Elle features the Tribeca loft of stylist Leslie Fremar, which would already be enough to get the Loft Peeping treatment, except it’s even more notable because Fremar’s friend and client, “design freak” Julianne Moore, helped her decorate the place.

Highlights:

••• Fremar “loosely inspired Assistant No. 1 in Lauren Weisberger’s The Devil Wears Prada before she began dressing celebrities for, uh, Prada.” Her clients include “Julianne, Reese, Scarlett, and Charlize” and “her Canadian accent is also particularly charming.” She has a line of “cotton tees, tanks, dresses, and leggings for Fruit of the Loom, available at Bloomingdale’s.”

••• She and her “financier boyfriend” used to live in the West Village, which Moore also decorated, and now they (Fremar and boyfriend, that is) have a two-year-old son, Jonah, and another child on the way. Elle doesn’t say whether Moore had a direct role in the children.

••• So they have a three-bedroom Tribeca loft with a birdcage light fixture, Kristina Loggia photographs, midcentury-modern furniture, dark sofas, a vintage French industrial bar, charcoal paint, a reclaimed wooden dining room table, a patterned Moroccan rug, sheepskin throws, fashion-designer sketches (Charlize in a Dior Haute Couture gown), “two baby Eames [...] at the kids’ table,” and John Derian throw pillows. (Each phrase in that sentence should get its own quotation marks, but it looks like Zagat if I do that.)
