Seen & Heard: New Shop on Greenwich

••• You know the storefront at 393 Greenwich that has been an H&R Block pop-up for years? The windows are papered, so I asked next door what’s up. They said it’ll be a clothing store.

••• I predicted that the liquor license application for 94 Chambers would be for something corporate and fast-casual, but commenter Joe says to think otherwise, which is great news; we’ll find out more tonight. One correction to the original post: Sunny One is at 94 Chambers—I identified the space as formerly the home to Jhankar, which is true but not the whole story. Damn you, Google!

••• Hudson River Park pushed the dog run opening back two days, to July 24.

••• Ponte Equities is also drilling deep inside the garage at 445 Washington (besides the other spots). If you can’t tell from the photo, just walk on by. You can hear it from blocks away.

••• Summer Sale Report (part 44): In anticipation of its relocation, Baker is offering up to 75% off everything in the store until July 27. And Edon Manor and Petticoat Lane are having sales.

••• Petticoat Lane is having a sale.

••• Justin Bieber’s mother will be at Barnes & Noble Tribeca today at 6 p.m. Will someone ask her what on earth her son is thinking?

••• Every time I walk down Murray to get to Asphalt Green, I wonder what on earth the new development coming to 101 Murray is going to do about being stuck between the stanky Whole Foods freight entrance and the highway that is West Street. Maybe carve the entrance—with a porte cochère?—triangularly into the West Street corner?

••• Here’s a rumor for you.
