Seen & Heard: Lispenard Mystery

403 Greenwich 71013••• The Colonnade Group says there’s no start date yet for 403 Greenwich, the now-vacant lot next to Kaffe 1668 North.

••• The Bond Real Estate Tribeca Group posted a real flashback today: A New York Times article from 1983 on “If You’re Thinking of Living in Tribeca.” Worth the read.

••• Shooting tomorrow around Cortlandt Alley: “Eye Candy,” an MTV pilot. From IMDB: “The cyber thriller—based on Rl Stine’s novel of the same name—centers around Lindy (Victoria Justice), a beautiful but reclusive hacker whose blog exposes everything from terrorist plots to suspected killers.” Mine too! “After her roommate convinces her to try online dating, Lindy is targeted by a dangerous cyber stalker, whom she believes is one of her suitors.”

••• Shooting Friday around Broadway and Chambers: John Wick, a thriller starring Keanu Reeves. “A former hit man is pursued by an old friend who was contracted to kill him,” says IMDB.

••• Something is happening at 58 Lispenard.

  1. love the 1983 article!

  2. Have you ever passed by the empty lot at 403 Greenwich at night? It’s a serious rat den and they come darting out in multiples to try and get to Wolfgang’s trash. It’s really quite unsettling.

  3. O is totally right – the rats that live in the empty 403 Greenwich Street lot are impressive. The vegetarians go through Kaffe 1668’s garbage and the others hover over Wofgang’s. It’s been so bad that I cross the street to walk by that block because the rats get aggressive defending “their” trash.

  4. I love the 1983 article, too. Thems were the days.
