Loft Peeping: Adam & Rebekah Paltrow Neumann

Paltrow Neumann master bedroomDesign Hunting visited the 5,000-square-foot Tribeca loft of Adam and Rebekah Paltrow Neumann and their kids; he’s a real-estate entrepreneur and co-founder of WeWork, while she’s an actress and producer. (And Gwyneth’s cousin, since you were wondering.) According to their designer, Laser Rosenberg—great name!—”The space was literally uninhabitable.” Now it’s quite habitable.

Of note:
••• They had to add a kitchen.
••• “Adam did the build out, and Rebekah conceived the space-planning and design.”
••• The credits include CB2, Restoration Hardware, and ABC Carpet & Home. The luscious wallpaper in the powder room is from Timorous Beasties.
••• The painting above the master bed is by Franklin Street’s Peter Tunney.
••• The dining room draperies conceal an emergency exit. I guess when you have a 5,000-square-foot loft, you need to have more than one exit.

Check out Design Hunting’s slideshow for the full captions. The text is by Wendy Goodman, while the photos are by Marcos Fecchino (some of the ones in this gallery came from Laser Rosenberg’s site).
