Seen & Heard: Taste of Tribeca Tickets Go on Sale Soon

••• Opening Feb. 27 at Launch F18 gallery, on the 6th floor of 373 Broadway: Slow Your Instruments, paintings by Clayton Colvin.

••• Calendar it: “Ticket sales for the 20th-annual Taste of Tribeca on May 17 will begin on March 1, and will be available at tasteoftribeca.org.”

••• Good news from Tribeca’s Kitchen, opening in the old Kidville space at Church and Duane: The build-out is starting this week.

••• “Bring your friends and family to stock up the pantry at Grandaisy Bakery’s first-ever provisions party on Friday, February 28, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in our Tribeca location.” You’ll find products from Blue J Syrups, Catskill Provisions (honey), Real Treat (caramels), City Saucery (tomato sauces), and Free Bread (gluten-free bread).

••• Interesting show opening Mar. 13 at Taymour Grahne Gallery: “Parallel Realms, a solo exhibition of new work by the Iraqi-Kurdish artist Walid Siti, including paintings, works on paper, and a large-scale site-specific installation.”
