Seen & Heard: El Vez’s Dinner Menu

••• Thanks to Jeff Solomon for sending over this video of the Tribeca Film Festival projection on the AT&T Long Lines Building (33 Thomas). I have to admit, it looks pretty cool. (Click here if the video won’t load.)

••• El Vez posted its dinner menu.

••• From the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council: “Join LMCC for Open Studios with Workspace Artists-in-Residence and Arts East River Waterfront Artists. Meet the Workspace artists who have been developing work in their studios since September and meet the 2014 Arts East River Waterfront artists who will be developing work on the pier this summer. Events at One Liberty Plaza are free with RSVP. RSVP here.” The events are May 2-4.

••• An amusing guerrilla art project happened at Pearl Paint. Thanks to Todd Masters for the photo.

  1. Tried to get in to El Vez last night around 6:30 and it was utter madness! The bar was completely jammed, and the wait time was quoted at 2 hours. They seemed overwhelmed, as they probably should on the opening night with a crowd like that, but it might be smart to wait a few days to check it out, especially at prime post-work time. We might try again for an early weekend dinner when the heat is less. If the food and drinks are decent, I think they will have a major BPC hit on their hands.
