TEARING DOWN TRIBECA
There’s a lot of demolition going on right now—and there’s a lot more to come. Here’s a look at what we’re losing, along with how much taller the new buildings will be.

TAMID’S NEW ARK INSTALLED DOWNTOWN
On September 24th at 7:30 p.m., Tamid will install and dedicate a Jewish Ark at St. Paul’s 9/11 Chapel. Tamid rescued this 100-year-old Ark from the Mezeritz Shul when it closed in 2013. Now restored, the Ark will be the Jewish presence at St. Paul’s for the 2.5 million visitors and worshippers who visit the chapel each year. The downtown community is invited to the dedication, which corresponds to the first night of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. Sponsored.
