Seen & Heard: The Glassing of 56 Leonard

••• The glassing of 56 Leonard continues—from W. Broadway, you can get a decent sense of how it’ll look.

••• The paper has come off of the windows of Morsi, recently revealed as the new inhabitant of 22 Warren (where Brick was). It looked intriguing—white tile floors, a handsome bar, a garden wall in back…. The website isn’t up yet, but the restaurant’s OpenTable page says the chef is Kenneth Johnson, presumably the same Kenneth Johnson who either was or still is the chef at Pescatore in Turtle Bay.

••• The renovated storefront at 9 White is a vast improvement. And the renovation, it turns out, is because it’ll be the sales office for 11 Beach.

9 White••• Exceed Physical Culture is hosting an open house on Sept. 23 (5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.): “Clients please join us for complimentary 30 minute training sessions throughout the day and to meet our new trainers! Independent trainers please come check out our new space, learn about our referral program and meet clients! Also feel free to bring your own clients and enjoy a free training session.”

••• Washington Market Tavern is serving brunch starting Sept. 27.

Washington Market Tavern brunch•••The back of White Street‘s menus has a great old shot of the block.

White Street menu••• @WTCProgress tweeted to worthy photos late yesterday: the WTC Transportation Hub Oculus (which now “has 71 of 114 rafters installed”) and 1 World Trade Center West Plaza. Rafters? Bah. Quills.
