Maslow 6 Wine Bar is no longer open as a restaurant—instead it’s booking private events. (And the wine shop is still very much open.)

THE WHITE TRUFFLES
The Landmarks Preservation Commission sent that white Greenwich Street restaurant (pictured at left) back to the drawing board—possibly, however, for something taller. And included in the proposal was the first look at the 11-story hotel under construction on Washington, which doesn’t need LPC approval. If it really is white, we have no choice but to call it the White Truffles.
