••• I finally made it to the new La Colombe café on Vandam, just east of Hudson. It’s much bigger than the one on Church, with tables that aren’t knee-high. You could even work there. I forgot to ask if there’s wi-fi (doubt it), but when I called to ask, no one answered.

••• You might be able to make an argument for the protected bike lanes like the one on Grand, even if I’ll likely remain unconvinced. But the green paint is just tacky.
