Seen & Heard: Warren Street Bar Trying for Late Closing

••• Congratulations to Talia Epstein, who won the drawing for an S-Cruise by Smartboat trip.

••• Tara of Tribeca, the bar at 20 Warren, is indeed trying once again with the State Liquor Authority. You’ll recall that CB1 rejected its request for late-night closing hours, so it attempted an appeal straight to the SLA. Last time the SLA discussed it, neighbors voiced objections and presented petitions, but there’s no guarantee of an institutional memory at any governmental agency. The meeting is June 30 at 10 a.m. at the New York State Liquor Authority’s New York City office at 317 Lenox Ave.

••• Thursday’s special meeting of the CB1 Landmarks Committee about Pier 17 is going to be at the Southbridge Towers Community Room at 90 Beekman.
