••• This weekend at Tribeca Cinemas: “Pride Art & Film Festival aims to share the stories that matter, the films that make a difference, that inspire or highlight the unique challenges faced by the LGBT community the world over. A curated selection of feature documentaries, and short films showcase the work of LGBT narrators and storytellers whose work articulates the adversities and accomplishments faced by LGBT people. From a comedic tale of a Church going Mother coming to terms with her daughters sexuality, starring the Kathleen Turner, to the more troublesome account of the struggle of homeless LGBT youth on the streets of Chicago in ‘The Homestretch’.” Also: “Edie Windsor will honor the Pride Art and Film Festival by joining us for a Talkback, along with directors Susan Muska and Greta Olafsdottir, following the screening of the documentary that inspired this monumental journey, ‘Edie & Thea: A Very Long Engagement.’”

••• A reader notes that the soon-to-open Parm at Brookfield Place is indeed L-shaped (as the NYT said but it never really sunk in). So what will be in the corner…? The word is that the corner spot is still raw.

  1. A few weeks ago, there was not paper on the windows in your photos. Parm indeed is in the second, third, and maybe fourth windows from Vesey. There are booths along the windows.

  2. Baked always smells weird. Like burnt plastic or something. I don’t know how people can eat there with that weird smell
