NEW KID ON THE BLOCK: IBIZA
In 1976, Chrystyna Hordijenko and John Husiak quit their jobs as a social worker and teacher, respectively, to go into the fashion business. After 40 years in the Village, their store, Ibiza, is now on Duane Street. “We’re downtown people,” says Hordijenko. “So we came farther downtown.”
