Last week’s post about how something appears to be happening at the former Nest Seekers real estate office at 156 Reade brought unofficial word that it’ll soon be an Alex and Ani jewelry store. (The building—a five-bedroom townhouse with geothermal heating—sold for $13.8 million in November.) Founder Carolyn Rafaelian lives in Tribeca and in Newport, where she threw a notable no-underwear party; you may have noticed hers kids’ handiwork on Hudson Street.
