Seen & Heard: Peek Inside New Greenwich Street Restaurant

••• From the Four Seasons: “For the first time, we’re offering a live tour pre-opening through Periscope! Join @FourSeasons for an exclusive sneak preview into Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown. Stay for the Twitter chat at 4:15 and trade New York’s local gems with us. And you won’t want to miss a suite tour at the end!” It’s this Friday afternoon; seems like maybe you register here?

Four Seasons Downtown New York rendering••• Westfield underestimated the speed of the U.S. Postal Service—despite what yesterday’s postcard says, the World Trade Shopping Center actually opens today at noon.

Westfield mailer••• The door was open yesterday at the Matt Abramcyk/Akiva Elstein restaurant at 385 Greenwich, where Ivy’s Bistro was.

385 Greenwich••• The 2017 Tribeca Film Festival will be April 19-30. If you read this article about the economics of film festivals, this part of the press release won’t come as a surprise: “The Festival will expand its areas of submissions from feature films, short films, and experiential storytelling (Storyscapes) program, to include submissions across all of the programming areas of the Festival. Creators can submit work to debut at the Festival’s industry leading Virtual Arcade (virtual reality, 360 films, and augmented reality), the highly successful television section (episodic storytelling, anticipated premieres, and independent pilots), and N.O.W. program (new online work, stories created specifically for the online space).”

••• I appreciate the warm reception that my anti-“TriBeCa” petition has received on Twitter, but I still need you to actually sign it.

••• Opening Sept. 1 at Front Art Space: New paintings by Robert Reitzfeld, as well as a book signing.
