Architectural Digest featured a Tribeca home designed by the mother-daughter team of Suzanne and Lauren McGrath, a.k.a. McGrath II. The owners, newlyweds with a baby daughter, “liked the downtown vibe but didn’t want to forego design elements more typical of an Upper East Side prewar building. […] Gut renovations of the kitchen and bathrooms helped infuse the space with intimacy. The duo focused on adding architectural distinction to the rest of the layout.” McGrath II custom-designed much of the decor, including the living room carpet and loveseat, the mosaic tile pattern in the master bathroom, and bedroom headboards.
