BATTERY DANCE FOR FEB. 28
Battery Dance will perform on Thursday, Feb. 28, at 7:30p at the Schimmel Center for the Arts at Pace University. The performance will include The Red Line (World Premiere), On Foot (2017) (trailer below) and Secrets of the Paving Stones (15th Anniversary) with live visual arts created by Silk Road Ensemble member Kevork Mourad, music by Grammy Award winner Kinan Azmeh, new choreography from Tadej Brdnik, and Jonathan Hollander’s celebrated works. Tickets here.

Battery Dance’s home base studios at 380 Broadway and Canal provides subsidized rehearsal space for over 400 choreographers and dance companies each year. Through its arts-in-education programs in New York City public schools, Battery dancers serve as teaching artists in primary, middle and high schools throughout the five boroughs. Battery facilitates in-school performances and master classes by international visiting artists, providing first-hand introductions for many city school children to the cultures of the world. The company also hosts the annual Battery Dance Festival.
