Appealing located within an Italian gourmet market (where the absence of shopping baskets implies there aren’t many shoppers), Barbarini—which used to be Barbraini Alimentari until it expanded into the space to the north—serves unpretentious Italian food at appealing prices. The skylit room in back is the most relaxing spot to dine, although the tables out on Front Street can be quite nice. (Closed as a result of Hurricane Sandy.)
