The second outpost of Danny Meyer’s Blue Smoke—the first is in the East 20s—will appeal to anyone looking for big portions of mainstream barbecue. There’s a long bar with two TVs and a large private room, but no jazz club downstairs (as there is uptown). As you’d expect from a non–Shake Shack Danny Meyer restaurant, the service is warm and professional.
