Co-owned by a pharmacist and a chef, among others, Yorganic aims to serve food that’s both healthy and delicious. The menu includes soups and sandwiches, but the focus is on Bliss Bowls, a cross between a salad bar and the Korean dish bibimbap. You choose a base—white or brown rice, rice noodles, buckwheat noodles, lettuce, or spinach; then you select toppings (mostly vegetables, although a few meats and tofu are available); and a sauce/dressing. Besides smoothies, Yorganic serves frozen yogurt, cereals and oatmeal, fruit salads, and juices. The space is contemporary and fresh, with lots of glass and wood, but there’s no seating. A good part of the business is delivery—in which case you might find a handwritten note, perhaps with a vitamin pack stapled to it, with your order.
