The neighborhood, as seen through the Blizzard of ’21

This may not be our last go-round at a blizzard in 2021, but let’s call it that for now. This was in fact officially a nor’easter, and the Weather Channel gave it an unofficial name — Winter Storm Orlena. And it’s still going! As of this morning Central Park had 17.2 inches.

College freshman Justine Tappert wandered the neighborhood from City Hall to Rockefeller Park west to grab some images mid-storm. Big thanks go to the folks who were out there keeping the wheels turning throughout. (In my building it was my neighbors! What a crew.)
