‘EDIBLE’ DINNER AT SPRING STUDIOS?
The Post reports that a “luxury micro-dosing” supper club called Medly (their spelling) is coming to Spring Studios on West Broadway and Canal. I can’t find any trace of it elsewhere, so not sure this is legit. But if so, they will be “making the most of New York’s new weed regulations by serving a “micro-dosed series of four bites, three-course plated meal, and dessert.” I know there was a underground pot dinner party in the past — maybe this is it in the sunlight of new marijuana laws.

SHARIA-COMPLIANT FINANCING AT 45 PARK PLACE
The Real Deal has an inside-baseball story on the financing behind 45 Park Place, the supertall that also has the mosque. For those into real estate it’s an interesting read. “He brought together banks from the Middle East, Asia and Europe in a murabaha, a type of financing structure that adheres to Islamic legal principles, or sharia. Industry experts are calling it the largest construction financing of its kind ever in New York.”

The Times reported several months ago — I forgot to run it — that former assemblyman Sheldon Silver was furloughed from prison and released to home confinement after less than a year of a six-and-a-half year sentence on corruption charges.
