Taste once again celebrates Tribeca

Taste of Tribeca had a great day on Duane Park (though some of my favorite Tastes have been in a light drizzle!) and it was such a relief to see them back in action.

These shots from Maerose Daniels give a sampling of the day: banana bread from Two Hands, the ever-popular Dole whip from Downtown Yogurt, samosas from Benares, porchetta from Pepolino, burgers from Belle Reve, salmon rolls from Takahachi, pork belly tostadas from Anejo. And of course, fun for the kids from a dozen of the neighborhood’s businesses. See the full list of restaurants here.

Welcome back, and thanks to all who made it happen — the restaurants, the parent volunteers, the patrons and all the local businesses who were on hand to celebrate the neighborhood.

  1. Congratulations to the Taste of Tribeca team for a wonderful event! The families of PS 234 and PS 150 are fortunate to have such a hardworking and skilled group of volunteers.

And cheers to all the restaurants and their employees who participated!

  2. It was so great to have this event back. Although it was sweltering, everyone seemed very happy and excited to be part of it. Thanks to everyone who gave their time, food, and money to our schools.
