• Jay McInerney’s 1984 novel Bright Lights, Big City has a slick new cover for its 25th anniversary reissue (how old does that make you feel?), notes Gawker. The Odeon still rates prime placement, if not the Twin Towers.
• Yaffa’s scruffy charm and low prices were evidently not enough to ride out the recession, as the Greenwich Street restaurant was the site of a public auction this afternoon. Glassware lined the bar as would-be buyers scouted for deals.
• Siberian Floors has moved to 145 Hudson (at Hubert).
