••• Brooklyn Vegan says that Gilt City had a deal for a concert by Blonde Redhead at Tribeca Grand. I signed up for Gilt City but I never remember to look at it. If anyone out there ever sees anything Tribeca-related on the site, please let me know.

••• Harrison ex-chef Amanda Freitag is miffed about the coverage of her leaving the restaurant, says Eater. (I wonder how she must feel when she googles “The Harrison,” and sees a blurb about predecessor Brian Bistrong.) The item also points out that new chef (and owner) Jimmy Bradley could (a) not succeed in renewing the lease, which I hadn’t focussed on before; and (b) that he might change the concept. That strikes me as unthinkable: The Harrison remains monumentally popular, at least every time I go there.
