••• It looks like Franklin Street (east of Broadway) has a tattoo parlor: Majestic Tattoo NYC. Maybe there’s hope for Tribeca’s soul, after all.

••• Tribeca Clayworks is holding an open house on January 19 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.: “Meet our instructors, check out the studio and play with some clay. Enjoy ongoing demonstrations with some snacks and a glass of  wine.” It’s at the Downtown Community Center, 120 Warren.
