Street art is so evanescent that someone should try to capture it for posterity. (The giant horizontal face was in Soho but I couldn’t resist including it.)
• July 2012
The horizontal piece is by the brazilian street artist JR, the winner of the TED prize. He has another Soho piece just around the corner and a new paste in Noho. Good stuff.
@Popstarr2000 (and beyond): Anyone know who does the mountains? I’d love a smaller version
The mountains and the animals were done by long time TriBeCa resident the artist Rober Janz. See more on his blog: mountainmode.blogspot.com . If you want to get in touch with him, let me know.
