Ever Tried Aquaspinning?

Last April, Aqua fitness studio at 78 Franklin was presented at Community Board 1’s Tribeca Committee as aquatic fitness, but it’s far more cutting-edge than aquarobics. Aqua will offer “aquaspinning,” or riding underwater stationary bikes. Why? Among the 10 reasons on the Aqua website: “Effectively burns cellulite,” “Impact free on joints,” and “Increases breathing capacity.” (Of course, “Europeans love it” is also one of the reasons….)

Aqua soft opens this week, for just two days (March 20 and 21), at a reduced rate of $32 per class; the official debut is in April. Book online or call 212-966-6784 for more info. At this time, only women can be accommodated.

  1. I am so excited to try this!

  2. I would be too, but $40 per class is serious money!
