• Zaba and Jade’s Toybox have opened a big holiday-season pop-up store (right) at the northwest corner of N. Moore and Varick. Besides offering a selection of adorable eco-friendly clothes and toys, the store will host all manner of events, including workshops for making crafts and writing letters to Santa (at a big, covetable cardboard table by partner Cardboardesign), story readings, and portraits with Santa—for which a photographer is bringing a 20×24 Polaroid camera. Best of all, 10 percent of all pop-up sales go to children’s charities.

• The MaryAnn’s takeover of the Yaffa’s space appears to be a done deal, if the MaryAnn’s menus in the window are any indication.
• The Tribeca Trib has a video report on the Yankees parade, if you want to relive it.
• Just a reminder that if you have any inclination to help with this site, drop me a line at editor@tribecacitizen.com and we can figure out how to make something fun happen….
