The sale is only part of Babylicious’s news: The store will close Feb. 2 for two weeks, and when it reopens, not only will be there a new interior design but also a new name. Says co-owner Carol Adams: “Because we’re called Babylicous, people don’t always realize that we carry clothing for bigger kids.” Stay tuned….

AROUND THE WEB The New York Times drops in on Chambers Street Wines for a fairly lengthy look at whether people are spending much on wine these days. ••• And in a NYT shopping piece, designer Clodagh browsed Tama. ••• “The owner of a 19th-century Tribeca loft building at 87 Chambers Street that partially collapsed this spring filed for a full demolition permit to raze the remaining portion of the structure, the city Department of Buildings Web site shows.” (The Real Deal)
