This week, the Atlanta-based School of Humanity & Awareness is holding courses at its satellite office at 64 N. Moore (where the Fontana Arte light used to be). According to its website, “SoHA offers a direct experience and training towards Heart-Centered Contribution, Awareness Training and Yin Conscious-Listening.” It’s affiliated with the Center for Inner Knowing.
In theory, I should go to the Introduction to SoHA Courses tomorrow, Saturday, at 9 a.m.: “Led by Christina Dechen, this simple and profound introductory class is an opportunity to experience the beginning movements of the transformational coursework offered in Atlanta by the School of Humanity and Awareness. All of the courses with Apolonia at SoHA-CIK are designed to guide and train students in the unfolding of consciousness into a way of living where the heart and spirit lead. These movements through the courses move us deeper and deeper as we awaken in the body.” But I’m afraid I really need to dust my fig tree.
Others with less pressing schedules, however, may also be interested in the five-and-a-half hour Beyond the Mind course: “It is an opportunity to experience how conditioning and patterns function in the human psyche, how the heart and spirit allow for transformation, how all the information about one’s life is stored in the body, and how the path of the heart and service is the door to a life of fulfillment.” It’s $248.
