Another home-design store is leaving Tribeca: Paul Kohn Design, at the corner of Hudson and Thomas, will be gone by May 31 at the latest. (The reason: Not enough foot traffic.) The company will continue to design furniture, but it’s getting out of retail; they’ll probably move to an office somewhere near the D&D Building. In the meantime, the sliver lining is 50% off all lighting and accessories and 30–50% off all furniture. Alas, the magnificent fig tree in the window is already going to Gavin Brown’s Enterprise.
