••• In the blizzard of Tribeca Film Festival information, I missed this: “Starting May 5, in the afterglow of the 2010 Tribeca Film Festival, we’ll have a 2-week run [at Tribeca Cinemas] of 11 of the films you may have missed at the Festival.” Click here to see the slate and for ticket info (which go on sale today for American Express cardholders and to everyone else on Friday).
••• This just in from Notify NYC: “On Tuesday, April 20 from 7 AM to 7 PM, a mock bank robbery will be staged for the filming of a movie on Reade Street between Centre Street and Broadway in Manhattan. Included in the simulated activity will be law enforcement and emergency response vehicles and actors dressed as law enforcement. NYPD will be on site.” So please don’t rush in and try to save the day.
••• Registration is open for Body & Mind Builders‘ summer day camp: “Indoor & outdoor yoga in English and Spanish, meditation, creative movement, swimming, field trips, academic enrichment, mandarin and much much more… Daily organic fruit and snacks provided.” Check the website for dates and prices.
••• RBC NYC will commemorate Earth Day (Thursday) for a lecture by Counter Culture on sustainable farming. Guest barista Katie Cargulio serve up espresso from the farms being discussed (2 p.m.–4 p.m.).
