••• Current food obsession: I had an unfortunate experience years ago at Dim Sum Go Go on Chatham Square, when I ordered what I now think of as a spamcake. But I crave dim sum, so I finally went back, taking myself out to lunch. And I loved it! So many delicious things—including many non-meat ones—without the strangeness or the roving carts—of the massive dim-sum parlors farther north. (Although it’s still Chinatown, fluorescent lights and all.) I dragged Adam back two days later, and now I want to go again.
