Seen & Heard: Mexicue

••• Food truck Mexicue (right) will be on Church between Walker and Lispenard today.

••• Tweet from Whole Foods: “Get a free @kindsnacks with every check in on @foursquare at our Tribeca location all month long.”

••• I passed this sign—at the Patriot, natch—and neglected to take a photo. Luckily, Andrew Carmellini and I are on the same wavelength.

••• Pasanella & Son reports that its Pasanella & Figlio wines are being poured at Blue Hill.

••• Planning a party? Albert Trummer emailed: “I’ve just launched a new and unusual addition to New York City nightlife: Theater Bar in Tribeca. We’re currently opening for select private parties only, but later in the fall we’ll also be open to the general public. The bar itself is located in an unmarked building near the corner of West Broadway/Franklin Street. As you enter the main room, past the door, you’ll find an upscale twist on old-fashioned vaudeville and circuses, with velvet curtains, exposed brick, and tin roof—all surrounding an elevated center bar/stage. The stage is where the bartenders will make incredible cocktails, as well as perform as acrobats, singers, actors, and jugglers.” Email the event director for party info: fabiola@trummerbars.com.
