From October 15 to 17, Iñaki Urlezaga’s dance company, Ballet Concierto, will perform a program of tango and classical dance at the BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center. The video above is a taste of the company’s work.
What’s more, TPAC and Tribeca Citizen are partnering for a contest exclusivo. We’ll be asking one tango-related trivia question a week for four weeks, at the end of which we’ll draw two names from the pool of everyone who guessed correctly. The grand prize is dinner for two at Tribeca’s own Industria Argentina—up to $150 on food and a bottle of wine of the restaurant’s choosing!—along with two tickets to the Ballet Concierto show; the runner up wins two tickets to the show.
All you have to do is the question below correctly (last time, I asked people to guess in the comments, and the answer quickly grew obvious—so now you have to email the answer to tribecacitizen@gmail.com).
Which actor, when asked if he still dances the tango, said, “Yes, sir. I practice the walk every day. You can learn a figure in five minutes, but it takes you ten years to walk like an Argentine.”
a) Robert Duvall
b) Gene Hackman
c) Hugh Jackman
d) Antonio Banderas
Only one guess per question allowed.
