This plaque wouldn't be notable except there are no others like it in City Hall Park. I sincerely hope Kerst's family and/or friends surreptitiously attached it one night.

Here's the latest in the DOT's and Downtown Alliance's efforts to prettify neighborhood construction (this one's on Chambers). I was thinking this isn't as neat in real life as it is in photos, that it looks too fake, when my dog peed on it (and he loves peeing on bushes). So maybe I'm wrong. Or maybe he's just that dumb.

Personally, I dig looking at construction (this too is Chambers). It's not every day you get to look inside a torn-up street. Um, scratch that.

Thank goodness that's settled.

I'm going to date myself here, but whenever I pass the windows of OK Uniform, this guy reminds me of one of the members of Frankie Goes to Hollywood.
