••• Superchic Project No. 8‘s store on Duane—in that tiny space that was recently Pomme—will open this Thursday, Oct. 28. Right now, that’s all we know about it.
••• Trinity Wall Street is celebrating the Day of the Dead in a novel fashion: “For its virtual altar, photographs and mementos may be submitted via Trinity’s Facebook page from October 22–November 2. On October 29, the virtual altar will display on Trinity’s website. Tweeting #TWSdayofthedead will allow thoughts, prayers, or meditations to scroll on a live Twitter feed adjacent to the virtual altar. At Trinity Church (Broadway and Wall Street), a memorial altar will be constructed in the rear. Beginning Sunday, October 24, anyone can leave photos, notes, candles, or flowers—symbols of loved ones who have died.”

Expect gently used kids’ clothing, toys, and books; housewares and adults’ clothing.
