Seen & Heard: Intérieurs Tenant?

••• The word on the street is that Al Abayan of cutting-edge fashion boutique Number (N)ine, which used to be on Washington Street, is renting the big old Intérieurs space at 149-151 Franklin.

••• Concierge Emergency Medical Care, at 200 Chambers (West St.), will be operational as of Monday morning, so try not to break anything before then.

••• Luzzo’s spin-off Da Mikele—on Church near South’s—will soft-open Tuesday or Wednesday.

••• From Stuzzicheria: “Beginning this Sunday, November 14th and running weekly through December 26th, Executive Mike Chef Mike Franzetti will be kicking off ‘7 Weeks | 7 Recipes, a series of dishes featured in the cookbook, Men of the Pacific Street Social Club. The dishes selected for 7 Weeks | 7 Recipes include Pasta e Piselli, Coyote Chicken, Steak Pizzaiola, Veal Francese, Manicotti, Crab Sauce, and Stuffed Artichokes. Recipe cards will be available each night so guests can take the traditions of East New York straight to their kitchen.”

••• Last week, I asked the folks at the Hudson River Park Trust why the Harrison entrance was gated off, and they said it was because lights there need to be fixed, which should happen soon.

••• From State Senator Dan Squadron: “I would like to invite you to join me in a discussion about what’s next in Albany and the community.  The discussion will serve as an update on last spring’s Community Convention and offer you an opportunity to share your thoughts before the new legislative session. In April, more than 350 community members joined me for the Second Annual 25th Senate District Community Convention, where I received valuable input on issues as diverse as school overcrowding, nightlife concerns and pedestrian safety. In this community discussion, I will update folks about progress we have made on topics raised at the convention, as well as take new questions and comments about issues in Albany and in the neighborhood.” The one for Lower Manhattan, Battery Park City, Tribeca, Financial District, and Soho is Thursday, Dec. 9, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at the Manhattan Youth Downtown Community Center (120 Warren, at West).
