In the News: Temple Court

••• “For a decade, John Ransom Phillips knew he needed a new home. Mr. Phillips, a painter, was slowly outgrowing his place, the top two floors of a building on Warren Street in Tribeca.” No comment. (The New York Times)

••• The New York Times tells the tale of Temple Court, a.k.a. 5 Beekman Street, that wonderful, somewhat decrepit building that showed up on blogs—including this one—earlier in the year.

••• Matt Abramcyk—an owner of Warren 77, Smith & Mills, and the upcoming Super Linda—gets included in a New York Times article called “The New Club Kids.” That’s got to hurt a little, although perhaps not as much as the photo.

••• The New York Times looks at the work of Bridget Fleming, who takes photos of creative people from behind as they ride a bike. A couple are on Tribeca streets, but all I see are more bicyclists ignoring the rules of the road.
