In the News: 187 Franklin

••• The Wall Street Journal looks into the townhouse proposed for 187 Franklin (and rejected by the CB1 Landmarks committee): “The facade is designed to bring together both functional and artistic elements in a manner that complements the neighborhood and its heritage,” co-owner Michelle D. Monticciolo emailed the WSJ. I believe I already stated my opinion, but I’m curious what other people think. (I added a photo of the current building at the bottom of the page.)
