••• The word on the street is that the stalled condo development at 46 Laight (the second building east of Hudson) has been bought by an entity called New 46 Laight Street LLC, owned by George Rizk and Jon Halpern. Slated to be six condos, it’ll now be three, and no façade changes are planned.
••• From Project No. 8: “This Friday, November 26th most of our clothing and shoes will be marked down 25–40 percent.”
••• And from Century 21: “A Thanksgiving thank you from C21—take 25% off any item this weekend! Download coupon: facebook.com/century21stores.”
••• From the folks at BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center: “The next Tribeca Meet & Greet will be at A Uno clothing store on Thursday, Dec. 9.”
••• The RHX space on Chambers is becoming something called Less Less (potential slogan: “Less Less is more more!”). Sigh. And a hair salon is taking over the Samantha Video space—which makes me wonder why Freeman’s or some other higher-end men’s barber doesn’t venture into the neighborhood….
••• Duane Park restaurant’s opera night, Theatre d’Orleans, is back on Sunday, Dec. 5. There’s a three-course prix-fixe for $33.
••• Tribeca Retail Club‘s next event is Dec. 17 at Space on White.
••• And congrats to Lance Lappin Salon, which is celebrating 26 years at 123 W. Broadway.
