Seen & Heard: Bouley Studio

••• If, like me, you’ve been missing David Bouley‘s Upstairs and wondering what happened to the “calendar nights” (Thursdays and Fridays) when the space above Bouley Bakery Studio was supposed to be a restaurant again, here’s what Nicole Bouley said when I asked: “Because it’s high season, for the moment ‘Studio’ is being used as a private event space or catering space [….] That said, I miss the food experience as well—will send a flare when the new menu is drafted.”

••• Because of yesterday’s icky weather, the Washington Market Park Christmas party has been rescheduled for this Sunday (2–3 p.m.)

••• Today on InBundles: $7 for $14 worth of food at Goodburger on Maiden Lane.

••• From Bubby’s: “Bubby’s Tribeca will be open for brunch Christmas day from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. The brunch menu will be served along with several festive Christmas offerings such as locally raised smoked goose hash with cranberries, Russ and Daughters smoked fish and pickled herring, Christmas ham and eggs, and Swedish Pancakes with lingonberries. […] Bubby’s is open Christmas Eve for dinner, and will be serving midnight brunch from 11pm-9am. Closed for dinner Christmas day, they will be serving eight consecutive days of brunch through New Years Day.”

••• Someone emailed me about what’s happening on New Year’s Eve, and as someone who no longer really celebrates the holiday, I’m not sure I can deal with rounding up all the options. (A few are on the calendar.) As for restaurants, I’ll pass along whatever info comes my way, such as this from Marc Forgione: “Join us New Years Eve … Our early seating will feature five courses ($95). Late seating starts at 9 p.m.—6 courses, Champagne & DJ ($165) For reservations call 212-941-9401.”
