What’s Up This Weekend

Here are some of the highlights from the calendar for this weekend (Friday–Sunday). Remember: More info on these—and the full calendar—is here.

••• Left: Grown & Sewn and Skot Foreman Fine Art are having a holiday party on Friday night. It’s a good chance to check out Foreman’s new Warhol exhibition.

••• Silver screen icon Ann Miller gets the “Meet the Lady!” treatment at 92YTribeca, with Nellie McKay and John Epperson. There’s an afterparty too. Reminds me of seeing Kiss Me Kate in 3-D at the Film Forum about a thousand years ago…. (Friday)

••• John Wesley Harding’s Cabinet of Wonders. (Friday, City Winery)

••• Rana Santacruz in concert at the BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center. (Friday)

••• Liddabit Sweets/McClure’s Pickles pop-up shop. Such caramels! (Saturday and Sunday)

••• Brother Joscephus and the Love Revival Revolution Orchestra is a “12-piece explosion of righteousness blending New Orleans party music, soul in the style of Ray Charles and Al Green, a good helping of jam-bandy roots rock and a splash of upbeat (non-religious) gospel into a feel-good gumbo of love.” Non-religious gospel, huh? (Saturday, City Winery)

••• A sing-along to South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut. My ex-roommate is so going to be there. (Saturday, 92YTribeca)

••• Rescheduled from last weekend: Friends of Washington Market Park’s Christmas party. (Sunday)

••• Of course, there’s a bunch of interesting ongoing stuff, too—such as Manhattan Children’s Theatre’s well-reviewed original production, “Lula Bell in Search of Santa.”
