••• Architect Bjarke Ingels, who designed the not-yet-built pyramid-shaped Hell’s Kitchen building that’s getting a lot of press, lives in Tribeca. (New York)

••• “New York harbor will soon have bragging rights about the first hybrid ferry. Statue Cruises has commissioned Derecktor Shipyards in Bridgeport, Connecticut to complete the world’s first hydrogen fuel-powered ferry, which is slated to launch in April.” (Broadsheet Daily)

••• “The city is starting construction on Franklin Street this week as the next step in the massive five-year Hudson Water Main project. The work on Franklin between Greenwich and Hudson streets wasn’t originally supposed to happen until several years from now, but the city Department of Design and Construction moved up the work to chop six months off the project.” (DNAinfo)
