••• Monday: Watch tango dancers in the WFC Winter Garden, and even learn to do the dance yourself. Slow-slow-quick-quick-slow….
••• Monday: Six-word stories of love and heartbreak at 92YTribeca, such as “Husband won’t confirm Facebook status” and “Silently suffered his facial hair experiments.”
••• Tuesday: Julie Burstein and Kurt Andersen stop by Barnes & Noble to promote their new book, Spark: How Creativity Works.
••• Wednesday: New York Opera Society presents baritone Kenneth Overton in a concert tribute to Paul Robeson at the World Financial Center.
••• Wednesday and Thursday: The Bacon Brothers—Kevin and Michael—play City Winery.
••• Thursday: Tribeca historian Oliver E. Allen talks about the neighborhood at 92YTribeca.
