••• A film called Arbitrage, staring Richard Gere and Susan Sarandon, is filming in eastern Tribeca on Thursday and Friday. Smart money says the Ping-Pong parlor on Cortlandt Alley is getting a visit from Sarandon (if she’s in the scenes being shot there). According to IMDB, Arbitrage is directed by Nicholas Jarecki and about “a troubled hedge fund magnate desperate to complete the sale of his trading empire” who “makes an error that forces him to turn to an unlikely person for help.” I know, the Dalai Lama! P.S. Twenty bucks says the title gets changed before release, which is a shame because I love the word arbitrage, although arbitrageur is even better….
••• Today on InBundles: $8 for an Alidoro sandwich, chips, and a glass of beer or wine at Puffy’s Tavern. You can buy up to four but only use one a day.
••• And on Scoutmob: $25 discount at Phaidon in Soho.
••• The windows at 55 Warren (the building that includes 55 Murray) are uncovered, and I saw workers painting inside today. It’s going to be lovely.
