••• Tiny’s opens for dinner tonight (Monday).

••• Coming to City Winery: Preservation Hall Jazz Band (May 26), Lloyd Cold (June 11).

••• The menu at Telepan Tribeca this week (Wed.–Fri.): The three amuse bouche are pea agnolotti; duck confit, ricotta toast, ramps; and lamb tartare, black olive. The appetizer is smoked trout with cucumbers and yogurt; the two main course options are anise spiced tuna with glazed fennel and gold beet or grass-fed brisket with spicy fiddleheads and nettles. Dessert is chocolate almond cake.

••• The winner of “America’s Next Great Restaurant” was Soul Daddy, which means it’s opening at 189 Front in the Seaport—because that’s a neighborhood crying out for soul food.

••• A sign has gone up outside City Hall Park reminding visitors that smoking will not be allowed there as of May 23.
