Photo Safari: Old Tribeca

Last week I noticed that Cortlandt Alley was being painted for a shoot, and then @EricWilsonNYT tweeted this photo, saying, "Either a movie shoot in Tribeca or the green movement has truly taken hold." (Seriously, can you imagine the co-op freak-out if people started air-drying their laundry?) It was for the HBO show "Boardwalk Empire."

I liked this vignette down the block, in the parking lot/vacant lot.

This strategy is less likely to work on Match.com.

An impressive installation at Broadway and Franklin. It'd be great if more construction sites let artists have their way with the plywood.

Maybe Paradise Fashion sold Odor Eaters and it was subliminal marketing...?

Or are the wavy lines supposed the indicate that the shoes are smokin' hot?

Robin Brouillette, who sent this in, said she's seen Robert Darling around for the past few days. This was at Franklin and W. Broadway, if anyone wants to take him up on his, um, offer. (Maybe he should add "No diseases" to his sign! Only if it's true, of course....)
